Responsible for the management oversight of all hospital financial activities as well as operational areas including general accounting, patient financial services, registration, and medical records. The position has overall responsibility for all accounting functions, accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger for Harrison Community Hospital, Physician offices, Home Health and Ambulance Services.
Qualifications: This position requires a bachelorís degree in accounting, finance or related field; a master's degree and/or a CPA are preferred. The successful candidate shall have a minimum of five years progressively responsible financial administrative experience in acute healthcare organization; five years in a senior leadership capacity is desirable.
POSITION: DIRECTOR OF DIETARY
Summary: Assures the efficient operation of all aspects of food service: supervises employees, prepares and maintains records related to health and safety standards, food production, payroll, and quality improvement.
Qualifications: Hospital food service operations management experience preferred.
POSITION: REGISTERED DIETITIAN
Summary: Directs and provides nutrition care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, implementation and monitoring.
Qualifications: Registered Dietitian; experience in hospital food service operations preferred.
POSITION: POLYSOMNOGRAPHIC/SLEEP LAB TECHNICIAN
Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Cardiopulmonary, the clinical director (M.D.) or designee, the technician provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education.
Qualifications: Successful completion of a polysomnography program or equivalent experience with documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic/Sleep Lab Technician.
POSITION: PHYSICIAN OFFICE ASSISTANT (FLOATER) MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Summary: The physician's office assistant is responsible for managing the clinic patients care responsibilities as well as clerical responsibilities. Good written, oral communications and organizational skills are necessary. The assistant independently performs procedures within his/her scope of practice, and assists the physician with other procedures as directed in the outpatient setting. Must be willing to travel to multiple locations within the hospital system. Hours are anticipated to be 32 - 40 hours per week, but hours and duties are as assigned and subject to change based on the needs of the hospital.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred. Medical Assistant experience required. Typing, office machines, and data processing, BWC experience preferred. Reliable transportation required.
POSITION: REGISTERED NURSE (MED. SURG AND ER)
Summary: Performs the primary functions of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of all assigned patients regardless of age on the unit during his/her shift. Is responsible for meeting the established Medical/Surgical Standards of Nursing Practice, for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment on the unit, and promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel from the other departments.
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Current Ohio license.
