The Physical Therapy team at Harrison Community Hospital works with patients to promote the healing process, help alleviate pain, recover strength and mobility after surgery, rehabilitate damaged joints, and restore function, balance, endurance and range of motion.
Among the conditions for which specialized treatment is offered are:
Muscle and soft tissue injuries
Fractures and dislocations
Inflammatory conditions such as bursitis and tendonitis
Degenerative conditions such as osteoarthritis
Chronic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis
Chronic neck and low back pain
Neurological injuries and conditions such as stroke
Circulatory conditions and disorders
Newly constructed in 2008, the physical therapy facility provides a comfortable, clinical setting for our patients. Our therapists work with children and adults in the Outpatient, Inpatient, and Skilled setting. Referrals are accepted from any physician, as well as patients referred from major medical centers in Canton, Pittsburgh, Columbus, and Cleveland.
