Medicare certified and approved and licensed by the State of Ohio, the Progressive Care Unit can accommodate residents for Skilled Care. Private and semi-private rooms are available. Reasonable rates for quality care in a hospital setting. · Residents enjoy 24-hour total patient care provided by physicians, RN’s, LPN’s, and Nursing Assistants · Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy · Registered Dietician for individual dietary needs · Daily individual group activities led by a Registered Activities Coordinator · Pastoral Care program providing weekly church services and visitations · Licensed Social Worker to assist with placement issues, counseling, information and referral and discharge arrangements. |

CPR CLASSES |

CPR classes, following American Heart Association guidelines, are held monthly on the third Monday and Tuesday, except during the month of December. To register for a class, class times, or for more information, contact the Nursing Office at 740-942-6275. |

The Nutritional Services Department offers counseling for all your dietary concerns. A Registered Dietician can help you with low-fat/low-sodium diets, diabetic meal plans, cardiac diets and general healthy eating programs. |

Chronic wounds or any wound which remains open for over 4 weeks needs special attention. Underlying medical and physical conditions along with attention to nutrition and aggressive local treatment and coverage of the wound play an important role in healing the wound. The Wound Care Program at Harrison Community Hospital is dedicated to diagnosing and treating a variety of wounds. Our doctors and nurses work together with your primary care physician to establish an individualized plan of care, helping you to regain your optimal quality of life.
