PHYSICAL THERAPY Our new physical therapy and rehab center provides a comfortable, clinical setting for our patients. Experienced physical therapy professionals are eager to serve those with orthopaedic, neuromuscular and vascular problems, as well as sports related injuries. Modalities include heat pack, cold pack, whirlpool, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and exercise. The physical therapist will work with you to establish goals, then create a program of educational, range-of-motion, strengthening, and endurance activities to meet your needs. |

SURGICAL SERVICES The Surgical and Anesthesia team consistsof skilled personnel and modern equipment to do a wide variety of cases including general surgery, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, podiatry, and orthopaedics. Most commonly performed procedures include: pacemaker insertions, endoscopies, cystoscopies, bronchoscopies, colonoscopies, cholecystectomies, laparoscopic procedures including lap chole and tubal ligations, prostate biopsies, breast biopsies and mastectomies, hysterectomies, D&C’s, appendectomies, hernia repairs, carpal tunnel, wound care and skin excisions. The Anesthesia team provides a full spectrum of anesthesia for these cases including anesthesia for endoscopic procedures. |

EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES—AMBULANCE Staffed with experienced, licensed EMTs and paramedics, the Hospital provides emergency response for patients requiring immediate attention. Patients can be transported to the Harrison Community Hospital Emergency Room or other medical facilities. Routine non-emergency transports can also be arranged. When required, medical helicopter service can respond in less than 15 minutes to transport critically ill or injured patients to an appropriate trauma/medical facility. |

SPECIALTY CLINIC Physicians representing various medical specialties maintain office hours in the Hospital’s Specialty Clinic. Patients enjoy the convenience of consultation, diagnostic testing, and surgery (if needed) all in one location. Specialties currently offered include: Cardiology, Podiatry, Urology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Pain Management, Adult Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Breathing Disorders, Allergy, Pediatrics, Gynecology and Orthopaedics. |

CARDIO PULMONARY Full-service cardiac and respiratory care including emergency procedures, diagnostic testing, cardiac rehabilitation, maintenance and treatment of both acute and chronic respiratory diseases. Common procedures include aerosol therapy, ultrasonic nebulizers, pulse oximetry, Holter monitoring, stress testing, echocardiograms, inventive spirometry, Dept. of Labor Disability Physicals, and pulmonary function studies. An Adult Fitness Program provides a comfortable atmosphere for year-round exercise. The program is monitored by a professional who will teach you the proper use of the exercise equipment and help you track your pulse rate. |

RADIOLOGY Diagnostic X-rays, Computerized Tomography Scanner (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine, Sonograms, and Mammography services are available. The Hospital participates in The Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Project which provides assistance for uninsured or underinsured women meeting the eligibility guidelines. |

LABORATORY The Laboratory performs analysis to diagnose or predict disease, and to monitor various therapies for effectiveness. CLIA Certified and Joint Commission accredited, the Lab is under the direction of a Pathologist, with a full range of laboratory services available 24 hours a day. A blood bank is maintained for your needs. |

EMERGENCY ROOM Open 24 hours a day, the Emergency Room offers emergency care to the community and is staffed by qualified physicians and nurses at all times. The Emergency Department also serves as an Outpatient Department where physical exams, pre-employment testing and diagnostic treatments are performed. |
